A Hybrid Analog-Digital Noise Reduction Scheme
A discussion of contemporary noise reduction techniques illustrates the drawbacks inherent in any purely analog or purely digital approach. A number of new features made possible by such a system are described, indicating another powerful use for the microprocessor.
