AM Stereophonic Broadcasting-An Historical Review

Recent interest in various forms of multichannel audio reproduction has prompted a new look at AM stereophinic broadcasting. An historical review is provided of various techniques which have been proposed since 1925, and the possibility of an expanded AM quadraphonic broadcast service is suggested.
