Live Electronic Music in Large Auditoriums

The performance of electronic music in large auditoriums requires high efficiency loudspeaker systems with f3 less than 45 Hz. Use of these loudspeakers, electrical power requirements, and placement based on directivity characteristics will be discussed. Slides and tape recordings demonstrating the applications of the components used in a live concert of the Electronic Music Ensemble of the University of Colorado at Denver will be presented.
