Because different manufacturers measure their loudspeaker components in different ways, it is virtually impossible to compare performance characteristics, even if test data is available. The author has made hundreds of direct comparison measurements by mounting various drivers on the same horn, etc. Test conditions will be described, and many test results will be presented.
