Chromium Dioxide Audio Cassette Tape

Document Thumbnail

Advanced audio cassette systems have extended high-frequency response and high signal-to-noise ratio at 1 7/8 in/s tape speed. A significant part of the improvement is provided by Crolyn- chromium dioxide (CrO2) audio tape. The properties of CrO2 coatings are described and compared with iron oxide.
