Measurement of the Acoustical Properties of the Concert Hall of the Michael C. Rockefeller Arts Center, State University College at Fredonia, New York

Document Thumbnail

The Michael C. Rockefeller concert hall is a multipurpose hall with a volume of approximately 650,000 ft/3 and seating 1200 persons. Three sides of the hall are curtained in an attempt to vary the acoustical properties to fit its different uses. Measurements were made at several different curtain positions of the reverberation time in octave bands and running liveliness in octave bands, the initial time-delay gap, and ambient noise level.
