In order to address the individual differences in the HRTFs of different listeners, the individualization of the HRTF based on the anthropometry of the listener's pinnae has been investigated. Using the early HRIR, which is mainly composed of the response of the pinna, instead of the usual HRIR, the estimation of the notches and peaks based on the anthropometry of the listener's pinna is expected to be achieved in the entire median plane. The present study estimated the frequency of the N1 (the lowest frequency notch) of the listener's early HRTFs, of which duration is 1ms, for seven vertical angles in the upper median plane from the anthropometry of the listener's pinnae
