Automation as Applied to the Mix Down Process

A system has been constructed to allow up to 64 dynamic functions to be encoded on a real time basis into a single complex signal. The signal can be recorded and subsequently played back, decoded and used to program the mixdown of a multitrack tape. Operation, function ad digital technique will be discussed.
