Multitrack Audio in Video Production

Document Thumbnail

The topic to be discussed in this paper is the multitrack audio machine usage in double system recording. This is a situation where the video and audio portions are recorded on separate machines. The film industry has used this technique successfully for a number of years; however, due to the problems encountered in synchronizing two non-sprocketed machines, the television industry has been slow to adopt this technique.
