Consideration of Occupied Bandwidth and Adjacent Channel Interference of FM 4-Channel Broadcasting System

Present FM broadcasting can be used as a medium for transmitting discrete 4-channel stereo program and the compatibility is maintained. In a model of discrete 4-channel signal modulation, the occupied bandwidth and the interference to the adjacent channel are discussed in this paper. It also introduces the result that additional guardband is not necessary on the present 2-channel broadcasting.
