Signal Processing Methods for Room Equalization

Document Thumbnail

The problem of room equalization lies at the intersection of the understanding of room acoustics, loudspeaker measurement, audio signal processing, and human perception. In this paper we summarize our work over the past few years and outline several considerations that have led to an automatic room equalization system with the ability to create correction filters that operate efficiently and over a large listening area.
