Computer Control of Sound Apparatus for Electronic Music

This paper outlines a method of sound generation by computer which utilizes a combination of digital and analog techniques. With this method, the computer does not generate the actual waveforms, but rather it provides voltages for controlling pitch and amplitude patterns of existing oscillators and level control amplifiers.
