The Teldec Miniature Stereo Cutterhead System
The author has spent four of the last twelve months in Europe, on four separate trips, in an effort to investigate the advancements which have been made in the field of recording in general, and Stereo in particular. The trips have included Germany, Denmark, Switzerland, Austria, Holland and Belgium. It is interesting to note that most of the big stereo noise comes from Telefunken in Hannover, Germany, whose 50% ownership in TELDEC (which it jointly owns together with English Decca) gives it the sweep of the field, from the disk to the home equipment.
