The Statistics of Delayed Reflections

Document Thumbnail

The paper defines delayed reflections on a statistical basis by forming them into classes of first, second, etc., order reflections. The sets of reflections are analyzed in terms of the resultant produced by the sound rays when an assumed random-phase relationship in frequency exists. Evaluations of the sets is carried out in respect to the time interval which prevails between a resultant and the direct sound.
