Broadband Equalization of Small Meeting Rooms

Individual equalization of sound reinforcement systems in large auditoriums has become accepted practice. However, the small public room-often dependent upon portable equipment or low budget installations-is subject to the characteristics of the components used. Acoustical measurement of a variety of such rooms yields some typical characteristics for which a compromise equalization may be demonstrated.
