For projecting sound into models of broadcasting studios, concert halls, theatres, etc., two special types of electrodynamic loudspeakers have been designed with a frequency range of 2-80 kHz and a very smooth frequency response. The first of the two tyeps can, according to requirements, act as a direct radiating acoustic transmitter or as a horn-type loudspeaker, transmitting approximately a plane acoustic wave. The second type of transmitter generates a cylindrical acoustic wave.
