Design Philosophy in the Construction of Multichannel Portable Mixing Console

A description of a new professional portable mixing console for multi-tack recording with 16 input and 8 output channels. Packaging technique of placing 50 amplifiers built using discrete components, 16 equalizers, faders and switches into a shell 28- wide, 21- deep by 2- thick, with self-contained power package, VU meters, monitoring circuits, and transformers.
