Pitch-Tracking of Reverberant Sounds, Application to Spatial Description of Sound Scenes

Document Thumbnail

Fundamental frequency (F0) is useful as a sound descriptor, and also as a cue for many systems, which aim at providing a perceptually-relevant objective description of a monophonic or multichannel sound scene. Here, a recently proposed multiple-F0 algorithm is adapted to handle reverberation, and a practical application is presented, which is estimation of reverberation time from musical signals.
