Power Amplifier Output Stage Design Incorporating Error Feedback Correction with Current Dumping Enhancement
Earlier papers have cited the applications of error-feedback correction to minimize crossover distortion and input-output transfer nonlinearity. Germane to these structures is the establishment of a balance condition for minimum distortion. This paper introduces enhanced topologies exploiting feedback and current-dumping techniques which reduce the sensitivity of the balance criterion. Practical realizations are presented which cover a range of application requirements.
