Where's the Bass? (Or It's Too Simple to be Accurate)

Document Thumbnail

The low-frequency response of small acoustical environments (specifically recording studio control rooms) can be and is a source of confusion to many people. The engineering report presented suggests a simple analysis method (utilizing time-energy-frequency measurements) in small acoustical environments. Two case studies beginning with initial analysis and moving to suggested solutions and the results of their application are presented.
