Experience Over Five Years with the Deltastereophony System in Palace of Culture in Prague
Palace of Culture in Prague had been completed and inaugurated in 1981. The delta-stereophony system first applied in Palace of the Republic in Berlin had been included into the basic concept of the electroacoustic system for the Congress hall/Volume 41000/27000 sqm, seating capacity 3000/2000/. Input signals are assigned to six main outputs which correspond to six source zones of the stage. The output side of the system has five channels. Via the output delta-stereophony matrix the ambiophonic system is further fed. The results achieved during almost five years are discussed.
