The efficiency of a loudspeaker in a given frequency band of its effective operation is very important characteristic. Until now the designers could only use an approximate analytical expression. A purposeful synthesis and optimization of devices with given spectral properties according to their efficiency - was hindered. The explicit form of the correlation between the Thiele-Small parameters of loudspeaker units and parameters of loudspeaker in closed box provided an analytical expression for the loudspeaker efficiency in the form of a product of dimensionless coefficients. This expression has an illustrative form and can be easily interpreted. Using this expression, one can solve the burning problem of optimization of the efficiency of loudspeakers analytically. An analysis of the main structural-technological problems of increasing the loudspeaker efficiency and finding a compromise between the closeness to the theoretical limit and the possibility of its practical realization is performed.
