Measurements of the Phase of the Stereophonic Subcarrier in FM Stereophonic Transmission
The paper discusses the problem of measuring the phase difference between the positive slope crossings of the stereophonic subcarrier and the positive slope crossings of the pilot subcarrier at the time axis. As a logical consequence of the equations presented, a simple method of determining this parameter is presented. Requirements of the necessary stereophonic subchannel filter are analyzed and practical circuitry is given.
