Ergonomics is a new multidisciplinary science that champions anthropocentrism, and consequently a methodology for user-friendly equipment. The coming of the multimedia systems has posed, once again, the question of how man and machine can interact effectively, which is the specific field of ergonomic speculation. Several of the most important principles in audio ergonomics are discussed in this paper.
