The Inn at the Presidio is a remarkable place to stay. Once home to unmarried officers, today everyone can come here to enjoy an elegant and authentic experience of the Presidio's history and beauty. Imagine waking up in the Presidio forest and then heading out on a trail to take in Golden Gate views. With just 26 rooms, the Inn is in high demand. Condé Nast Traveler readers recently declared that the Inn at the Presidio is one of the top 10 hotels in San Francisco.
Lodge at the Presidio is an historic boutique hotel and offers the closest proximity to the Golden Gate Bridge of any San Francisco hotel. The 42-room lodge will be your starting point for national park adventures. It’s located in the heart of the Presidio, steps from the Visitor Center and a seven-acre green gathering space that hosts community events including Presidio Picnic. The park’s 24-mile trail network connects visitors to beaches, nature sites, museums, restaurants, and all the adventures the 1,500-acre national park offers. Lodge at the Presidio is the sister property of the award-winning Inn at the Presidio.
The free PresidiGo Shuttle is available to provide guests with easy access to the amenities of downtown San Francisco.
Hotel accommodations are also available along Lombard Street, outside the Presidio east gate, stretching eastward for approximately 1 mile. These hotels are typically a short 5-10 minute taxi, Uber, or Lyft ride to venue.
Participants may also stay in downtown San Francisco (ca. 5 miles away), although the cost is expected to be somewhat higher. Note that there is no direct public transit connection between downtown San Francisco and the Presidio. A taxi, Uber, or Lyft ride will be up to 35 minutes each way, depending upon rush hour traffic.
