Optional Social Event: Scenic Riverboat Tour of Washington Monuments

Complimentary beverages and food will be served. Round trip transportation from the conference to the marina will be provided. Boarding time is 6:45pm and the cruise is from 7:00pm-9:00pm.
Join us for a chance to socialize with colleagues on a Potomac Riverboat cruise! A private charter boat will feature a narrated sightseeing cruise to view some of the iconic Washington, DC monuments and memorials such as: the Jefferson Memorial, John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, The Washington Monument, Memorial Bridge and the 14th Street Bridge. Board from the Old Town Alexandria City Marina and cruise north towards Georgetown and back. Enjoy a sunset on the Potomac River and a chance to see the monuments lit up at night. Two onboard lavatories.
*Please note that if you wish to stay in Old Town Alexandria past 9:15pm to enjoy the many fine restaurants in the vicinity, you will be responsible for your own transportation back to the Holiday Inn Ballston at Arlington, or your final destination.
