Call for Contributions - 2017 International Conference on Automotive Audio

The Technical Committee on Automotive Audio invites the submission of material for its 2017 AES International Conference on Automotive Audio for review. Accepted papers and poster abstracts/précis will be published in the conference proceedings. A list of proposed topics is shown at the end of this page.

 

Submitting a paper

Complete papers (4–8 pages) or poster abstracts and précis (1 page maximum) are to be submitted to the papers chairs by 15 May 2017 at http://www.aes.org/2017automotive_authors. Now Extended to 14 June 2017. Templates for preparing papers will also be available at that site. Papers and author information may be submitted anytime after 1 March 2017. Authors may contact the papers chairs in advance of the full paper submission date, regarding suitability of paper/poster topics, or for an informal review of an abstract/précis. Acceptance of papers will be determined by the conference review committee and authors will be informed of the decision before 8 June 2017. Extended to 28 June 2017.  Final versions of papers following any revisions guided by the committee’s review must be submitted by 15 July 2017.

The conference program will include both oral presentation of papers, and poster presentations. Authors must indicate their preference for either form of presentation; note that some paper presentations will be assigned as posters by the conference and papers chairs.

 

Publication

Accepted papers and poster abstract/précis will be included in the conference proceedings. The papers will be published in the AES E-Library no earlier than 10 days before the conference starts.

 

Submitting a tutorial or workshop proposal

Tutorials and workshops will complement the conference paper sessions by providing panel presentations and lectures led by experts in the field. These events will provide in-depth yet practical discussions related to automotive audio, while demonstrating the application of science in real-world scenarios. Authors are encouraged to submit proposals for workshops and tutorials by contacting the chair directly.

 

Technology demonstrations, exhibition and sponsorship

The committee also invites vendors with products related to automotive audio to participate in the conference exhibition, which will include tabletop demonstrations as well as organized presentations during conference proceedings. Special consideration will be given to conference sponsors. For more information on being an exhibitor or sponsor, please contact the chair.

 

Registration requirement

At least one author on each paper or poster must register for the conference for the paper to be included in the conference program and proceedings.

 

Important dates

Manuscript deadline: 15 May 2017. Extended to 14 June 2017.
Authors informed of decision: 8 June 2017. Extended to 28 June 2017.
Camera-ready submission deadline: 15 July 2017.

 

Open Access
