The AES recognizes and honors those who have made outstanding
contributions to the field of audio in engineering, technology,
service, and the arts through its Awards Program.
In 2014, Mark F. Davis was presented with the
AES Fellowship Award in recognition of his significant work in audio signal processing including the dbx/MTS stereo television noise-reduction system, loudspeaker design, and dissemination of the understanding and application of audio technology developments and innovations.
