About

Emerson Maningo is a record producer/music publisher and mixing engineer from Cebu, Philippines. He writes audio recording and music production tutorials which are published in his personal audio recording blog. And also at the same time, writes music and manages his own music publishing business.

Some of his songs are already featured in some of the film festivals such as the 48 Hour film festival and TV shows.He specializes in producing rock, alternative, acoustic and country music.

He graduated Cum Laude from the University of San-Jose Recoletos in 2002 with a degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering. He attended University of the Philippines and earned 6 units in M.Ed Mathematics. His main interest and specialization is digital music production/digital audio workstation mixing and mastering.

Emerson is also a musician, an ASCAP songwriter/publisher and a guitarist of Cebu indie band "Tweakz n' Reverbz". The self-produced acoustic/live album earned positive praises from critics and press in 2006. The album has been reviewed by The Philippine Star Online news publication dated March 20, 2006.
