Tony Schultz has been an audio engineer, music producer and composer for over twenty-seven years as owner/operator of Big T Productions (est. in 1989).
He has served three consecutive two-year terms as the Chair of the Boston Section of the Audio Engineering Society and is currently serving the AES as VP of the Eastern Region of the US/Canada.
He has presented at a number of colleges including Berklee College of Music, Harvard University and the Royal College of Music in London. Tony is also founder of Tonedog Publishing (ASCAP) and a member of SPARS and NARAS.
Originally from the Chicago area, Tony attended Berklee College of Music in Boston where he received a Bachelor's degree in Music Production & Engineering in 1988. He received a Masters Degree in Music Technology in 2007 through an online program from the University of Newcastle in Callaghan, Australia.
In addition to operating the studio, he taught as an Assistant Professor at The New England Institute of Art for 18 years, specializing in MIDI and Audio Technology.He is also an Instructor of Electronic Music Production for Berklee Online.
Past clients include; RCA Records, Mercury Records, Virgin Records, WFNX, Filene's, Home Inc., EF Education, Schneider & Associates, Softskull Press Inc., Brand X Filmworks, Dudnyk Healthcare, Teatro de Marionettas de Venezuela and NAHB Production Group.
